Yes, but why is that phrased as a question? We use backticks (grave
accents) in almost all of our docstrings. It's important that our
developers be able to distinguish between apostrophes and backticks.
Similarly, since our docstrings our ReST, a developer who cannot write
ReST cannot properly document their code.

fwiw, I also find Moin hyperlinking confusing:
- JustCamelCase
- !HowDoISuppressThisAgain?
- [[Not Camel Case Wiki Link]]
- http://example.com
- [[http://example.net|Text for link]]
I usually find it easier to copy from another page than to remember all
that.
