if you already have intel machines stay at intel and the reason is 
simple: if you ever consider virtualization with HA you can't mix 
AMD/Intel in the cluster because you need to mask cpu capabilities for 
the oldest hardware in the cluster to make live migration possible

that's only supported with all hosts in the cluster Intel or AMD but not 
mixed and honestly from the performance you will hardly notice any 
difference, if you do so your hardware is still too slow for the workload
