Is RC the same as 'the very last beta?'

Shouldn't Beta be a fixed point?

I was under the impression that we would release a Beta, and then work
toward a separate RC
This is why I have been working towards an RC currently.
We can simply ignore the RC, and just keep a beta until we release.  I
just wanted to have a sort of reference point, by leaving one ISO as
beta.  It is probably good to just name the current ISO as 'daily-build'
rather than Beta, or RC.
