Re: Logs for missing volume and battery icons

Hey Jack,
There is a new JWM Joe just uploaded I will rebuild and we can test it to see if there is an improvement. Not entirely sure if there is, as it seems as though it may have broken things a bit...

I will look into the
'Operation not supported'
issue in a bit

Also get pop-up 'Operation not supported' if I click on 'Network' and 'Devices' in Places in PCManFM.

Hi Israel,

Updated installed in VB system with latest 'jwm-menu' package and the 'Places' menu drop-down is fully populated as expected now.

I still have the missing Volume and Battery icons missing though after logout / login.

Also noted, if I click on 'Trash' in 'Places' I get a pop-up 'Operation not supported'.

Cheers,
JackT.

Hi Jack,
Thanks for the catch.
I added somethings to the jwm-places program
I had
set -euC -o pipefail
In hopes of preventing the broken pipe issue I was having earlier.
however using the u option fails
u means: error on unset variables
So, since $LANGUAGE is unset it fails and dies :( I saw this in your log

So the fixes menu should be arriving quite soon a.k.a. whenever it builds.. which according to launchpad is in about 3-5 minutes... so it should really be there in 20 or less

Also now after these latest updates, 'Places' fails to reveal
anything, so that is a regression.
