I like this idea and had been thinking of something similar - creating a
team for upstream developers rather than adding them directly to Bug
Control.  It'd then be neat to update the karma suffix Greasemonkey
script to display the icons of the Debian Developers and upstream
developers team so we can better identify authoritative comments.

Having said that did you really mean the debiandevelopers team[1] in
Launchpad?  That team seems to have more pending members than active
ones and only has one administrator.  Additionally, they don't have a
team icon!
