How about this? Create one generic account ("John Doe"). complete with
email, password, etc. (something like johndoe@xxxxxxxxx) and public
profiles. Subscribe them to the ubuntu manual list. Use the same
password for the email, facebook, twitter, etc (not the same as the
login though). All of the author's and translators will set up that same
account information in their computer (using the generic name for their
language for the actual computer account information).

When they take the screenshots, they'll black out the Person's Name
(along with the email address) from the screenshots.  That way, we're
all using the same "public" persona, but we can tailor it to our version
"John Doe", "Erika Muster", etc.

In other words, on the installation pages, we'll tailor the information
to the "generic name" for our individual languages and take the
screenshots. On the setup ages fro things like Thunderbird or Gwibber,
we'll do the same thing. Then we'll create the actual accounts/profiles
using the login information that you provide. And we'll all have the
same content when those screenshots are taken (in Gwibber, Thunderbird,
Evolution, Facebook, etc). The reader won't know, because the names and
email addresses will all be blacked out in the content screenshots.


Just so my idea is clear, it goes like this:

Installation -- Use generic name for language, along with email address
"John Doe" "johndoe@xxxxxxxxx", "Erika Muster", "erikamuster@xxxxxxxxx"

Gwibber/Thunderbird/Facebook Setup -- Put the information that you used
to create the account on your computer in, and take screenshots. Then
remove that information and replace it with the "public persona"
information that Kevin creates and create the accounts.

When showing the actual Gwibber/Thunderbird/Facebook content, black out
any references to the "Public Persona" (along with any email addresses
or names on the content itself).
