Well, you think the answer of these questions are obvious and trivial?

Since the audience is developers, they should able to figure out many
things themselves after understanding the basic idea.

and on that note ... since the above sounds like a good closing word for
this thread, there will be a track at the next vUDS covering mobile app
packages and SDK integration of these :)

make sure to attend and you will be able to help deciding on the way
forward :)

I *really* hope that it doesn't turn out that we'll have a package builder for the phone , but the desktop gets completely forgotten about (with some non-standard phone packages , that break compatibility with the desktop or something like that , I'm no expert) .

Keep in mind that the very soul of the 14.10 target is the convergence. This is the number one priority right now. I assume that ever member of the Ubuntu developer community cross-check every new idea against that priority.

So I can assure you and everybody, that there will be no form factor specific packaging or distribution process.
