Message #16976
Re: music app doesn't play music.
Indeed, as Thomas Voss said above it does appear to be media-hub crashing,
and then the client side is holding on to an invalid player session. We're
in the process of developing the ability to much more gracefully recover
from such a situation but it's not ready yet. So what I would like to see
is the following:
1. rm /home/phablet/.cache/upstart/media-hub.log
/home/phablet/.cache/upstart/application-click-com.ubuntu.music_music_*.log
2. Reboot your phone
3. Open music app
4. Select an album to start playback
5. Send me the music-app log and media-hub logs from that
This will give me a clean log set to work with to see if you have a
situation where media-hub seems to be constantly crashing for some unknown
reason.
Thanks,
Jim
