Just to know, now that we've reached a small consensus on the issue; what
would the next step be? Isn't there some official specification for the
dash against which this proposal could be submitted for review and
approval? (I'm kinda puzzled on the impact the discussions on this list can
have on the official design specs).

If anyone can let me know, I'd appreciate.
