Oh! Sorry, I thought there was problems with this approach (some few 
weeks old mails). In that case I'll keep both approaches possible and 
merge in the same engine (periTriax), ok?

Ok, it is just few lines anyway (with the dynamic approach).

meanStress = ...
isoVelGrad += dt.(goal - meanStress)/mass;//or the "stiffness" one
velGrad[0][0] = velGrad[1][1] = velGrad[2][2] = isoVelGrad;
