Re: New icons for KiCAD

Please understand that when I included your previous set I went
through ALL of them one by one and fixed any single possible problem.
For instance look how the current inch/mm icons are currently aligned
vertically so that misaligned pixels do not create fuzzy vertical
lines. I did that for all icons. In the set you have just submitted
the inch/mm icon seem to have a fuzzy vertical line.
Actually, I did it deliberately. Problem is that in the field of 26x26 pixels are not so easily accommodate meaning of the action that is executed. There are situations when 1 pixel is small and 2 pixels is lot. Then we have to use clever tricks, such as blur and halftone to create different illusions. I think we should not judge so that if the line is aligned with the pixels - it is good, and if it is blurred - it is bad. We need to look as image looks in general.

I think what JP is telling us is that it is great to have a new set to
try out and such but it is even better to join our effort and make
great icons for the whole kicad community.
Sounds nice, but it is very difficult to implement, because many people have so many opinions. I suggested icons that me completely satisfied, but there are people who do not like them. And that's fine, as it should be. So how do you decide which icons should stay and which are not, you can customize them to your liking (but not all community).
