Re: zRAM has been removed from Lubuntu 13.10 daily build of 17-Jun

 

Hi Ho Wan Chan,

I'm happy to read that zRAM will stay :-)

zRAM makes it possible for me to install Lubuntu using the desktop
installer, on real hardware with only half the necessary RAM compared to
the previous levels:

>     works without disk swap: down to 384 MB RAM
>     works running disk swap: down to 256 MB RAM

which I think is a remarkable improvment :-)
