Especially since the videos are all english (or spanish) anyway.

Well, I don't see anything wrong with a partial translation here.

In my opinion trying to translate a show's given name in another language would be quite pointless (more or less like it would be pointless to translate your family name in another language).

But trying to translate something like "Categories" makes actually sense, since it's a general word and not a given name.

That said, I won't feel especially sad if any menu item that's coming straight from CNN's data remains untranslated.

But we would need to have some indication in the plugin list or plugin
properties that it only serves media in certain languages.

That may be useful, but I think it goes beyond the scope of this discussion (it's interesting though, so maybe raise it in a dedicated topic ?)
