Re: Debian Chroot, was: Re: Bootloop after installing OTA4

Hello everybody,

it might have taken a while but I finally published my guide for
creating and accessing a chroot on Ubuntu Touch. I made it a lot clearer
(IMHO) and I also included Oliver's comments about the use of
qemu-debootstrap.

You can find it as an answer to the following question on AskUbuntu:

https://askubuntu.com/questions/620740/recommended-way-to-install-regularcli-deb-packages-on-ubuntu-phone/678031#678031

I hope this can be of use to someone.

Cheers,
Torsten

Hi Julia,

I'm afraid not, at least not yet. I can put something like this (also
incorporating Oliver's comments) on a wiki page or something similar,
but I am not sure where to put it. Do you have any suggestions?

Well, AskUbuntu might be a good place :)

There are other answers with less information, might be a good idea to
improve them or five your own so others can get directly referenced to it.

Best,
