I myself always work with a laptop and it isn't that comfortable to have to
use keyboard shortcuts. It's much more ergonomic to purely use the touchpad.
Therefore I find it hard to believe that removing this function from the
title bar will be a step forward, it will much more probably be a step
backwards.

A button in the middle of the screen isn't that easy to hit for most people.
Especially not for people who are new to PC's.
