A suggestion; (although you may or may not think it's acceptable-as mentioned, your baby, I respect.)
Perhaps you could leave the thread as-is and any helpful post/articles could be incorproted into the wiki? I see this as a good way to generate loads of wiki pages at relatively little effort and/or inspiration.

And it's a brilliant idea, the LOST. :)
