I've just made a fresh install of archlinux and compiled the 2.6.34-rc3 and
I have absolutely the same issue as under debian.
The screen goes black, the fan becomes crazy and absolutely nothing is
logged !
I tried to load the module in the initrd, during boot or even after, it
changes nothing.
