Re: Music app.

 

Yes librarys whould need to be different, but not only that.
Music requires playlists, movies feels strange with playlists.
Music needs shuffle, repeat, maybe crossfade all which are not Movie wise.
Movies needs all off the screen to show the movie, music needs not that
but needs album art, controls, maybe lyrics.

I'm not in the position to say it shouldn't be a single app. But I just
want to
say that there are so many things that need to differ as it don't make good
sense to make them the same app. And I fear that would interfere with
creating a great music player.

For music apps like Clementine, GMPC, Amarok is superior to apps like
smplayer.
