Re : No more dodge windows in Unity ? Why keep the "Always hide" option ?
No, Mark said an option must be removed, so why remove dodge instead of auto-hide ?
Why ever "prove it", "prove it", "prove it"
We are users and we like this dodge.
We can't prove we like it, that's an opinion...
We are here to say that, if dodge is not easy for newcomers, it's not a bad idea however, and that we are many wanting to see it in ubuntu 12.04...
Of course he will get the expected behavior for always-hide, but that does not mean he will found it convenient...

I guess you meant "keeping both 'always hide' and dodge is a better choice than removing dodge"?
If so, go on, 'prove' it, if that involves any arguments that haven't been presented already.

No, because the default is always-visible and the assumption is that a user who changed it to always-hide already discovered the launcher and will get the expected behavior.
The only problem I can think of with that assumption, would be cases where someone uses a system configured by someone else. I doubt that this is common enough compared to user-started-with-defaults cases. But if it would be, it would be an argument against any single behavior-related configuration option.
