Re: partner / partner.address merge (Re: [Openerp-i18n-french] “personne morale” vs “société”)

 

the things is that, it was also like this with the previous model, you are
forced to create fake patners... as soon as you need to give an address to
an employee, a site, a location,... and with this new model you have as
many partners for a customer/supplier/stock location that you have
addresses for this company...

an address, as a bank account, should remain indepedant and could be
associated to any object if needed.

The only concern could be performance issue based on the openerp orm
architecture... anyways i'm not sure that the actual model is a query
saver. It complexify the design for sure...
