Ali,

if you expect work to be done, then it has to be in a way where people 
can respond to each other proactively despite the differences in time zones.

The mailing list and IRC have been used until now and what's the state 
of the website again? Is there actually any solid foundation that can be 
built upon? How long has it been dragging itself?

I have no objections against hanging in IRC, or any efficient way for 
that matter, for me it's a suitable way also, as I'm logged almost 
constantly, but at the same time I'm used to more effective ways of 
communication than browsing through endlessly nested and cluttered email 
communications.

I am calling for means of active development mainly for those of us who 
are actually willing to work on the design. Non-designers don't have to 
be a direct part of it, not saying they don't have a say in it of 
course, but if we are to work efficiently, there has to be a better way,

or things can stay as they are and expect your site be done maybe in 2020.
