May I remind you all that we are all volunteers and NONE of us are getting
paid for what we're doing? that said, I'm afraid real life comes first.
That said, if you need Alfredo or anyone else, you need to wait until he/we
see the email, read and then reply. This is what I have been doing for +4
years so far with many projects ... I'm sure this is what others do as well.

I'm not sure where is he? but I'm sure he'll get back to you ;)

While it is true that Alfredo is the driver of Artwork, I'm the driver of
the community. Things that need approval must go through the Ubuntu GNOME
Board. The board has all the drivers for Ubuntu GNOME. So, if one driver is
away, others can do the needful unless something is very specific required.
In that case, Acting Team Leaders must step in.

Wait, what this has to do with communications?! I'm confused and lost again
...

The website thing started 'before' you join us and IMHO, it is not because
which platform we're using or have used .. there are other reasons. If you
ask me, it is lack of follow up and serious attempts to do the website.
Sometimes, if I'm away, things will not go forward .. that is indeed why I
have found some people who stepped in and took over some of my roles.

Artwork team members are FREE to use whatever platform 'they' prefer.
However, official communications MUST be done via mailing list, that is
Launchpad for the Artwork + the main mailing list of Ubuntu GNOME :)

Not being a dictator but that's my opinion about this.

You guys are free to organize yourselves the way you wish, no problem here.
That is why there are sub-teams. However, once there is update, progress,
etc ... you guys need to use the mailing list. I'm not interested to be
part of ANY NEW channel. I am part of tons of projects. Having one extra
channel is an overkill for me. YMMV.
