thats the point, giving all of them away for $700 means you need to make
more than 4mio with the extra perks (700 * 40000 devices = 28mio) plus
you have to compensate for the $100 difference for the devices that got
out to early adopters on the two first days. you cant sell the phone
cheaper than the production costs are unless you have a massive
compensation in place already. while i belive your smaller perks would
gain good money into the campaign i dont think it would be enough to
compensate for such a price drop (note you would also have to re-fund
all the people of the 720, 750, 775 and 780 perks if you drop the price
across the board so we would lose a million or more again)
